Hi, I’m Derek Carlton, your State Farm Insurance agent in Louisville, KY. I opened my office in October 2020 after gaining experience as a team member at another State Farm office for two years. Before transitioning to insurance, I earned a degree in public health and spent nearly a decade with the Florida Department of Health. My professional journey has also included time in the car industry, but my passion has always been finding ways to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, cycling, mountain biking, clay shooting, and spending time with my family and friends. I recently trained for The Crooked Creek 1/2 marathon trail run and look forward to more adventures this year.

As a long-term Louisville resident, I’m proud to serve this vibrant and diverse community.
