With February here, we celebrate the season of connection and care. It's a wonderful time to appreciate the relationships that enrich our lives, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve our amazing community every day.

Hi, I'm Derek Carlton, your State Farm Insurance agent in Louisville, KY. I opened my office in October 2020 after working as a team member at another State Farm office for two years. Before beginning my career in insurance, I earned a degree in public health and spent nearly a decade with the Florida Department of Health. I also worked in the car industry, but I ultimately wanted a career where I could positively impact my community and build lasting relationships.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, cycling, mountain biking, clay shooting, and spending time with my family and friends. I recently completed training for The Crooked Creek 1/2 marathon trail run and look forward to new challenges in 2025.

As a proud Louisville resident, I'm honored to serve such a vibrant and diverse community.
